This deck was THE deck back in the day when the game first came out. Cut those potions for 2x switch, otherwise your list looks good. Haven't been playing the GBC game recently (it's freaking amazing through) but my buddy and I did dig out our old cards and make decks. For the GBC game, any reasonably built deck is fine.

Stuff like Rain Dance can absolutely truck the AI opponents. For human opponents, haymaker variants are definitely the decks to beat. I do really enjoy stall, though. My buddy's list is something like this: Marshmallows (win con is usually to deck the opponent so no oaks) 4 Chansey 4 lickitung 3 mewtwo (energy absorption promo) 3 abra 3 Pokemon breeder 3 alakazam 2 mr mime 4 scoop up 4 computer search 4 bill 4 energy removal 4 gust of wind 4 Pokemon center 4 DCE 10 psychic energy.

We've been going up until Team Rocket so the actual list has a few Full Heal energy, nightly garbage run and Rocket abras. Rocket gives you hay fever vileplume too, so one of my favorite decks is 4-4 breeder plume line with scyther and pinsir, with only 4 oak, 4 computer search, 4 trader, 2 item finder and a bunch of energy. I really like fossil magmar and electabuzz for haymaker decks, and I've actually had some success with magmar + 3-3-2 charizard line as a kind of 'big haymaker'.

I have a few lass. I'll probably build a stall deck, they sound fun. On the off chance, do you happen to have any old pokemon cards from base/jungle/fossil set youd be willing to sell me? I want them mainly for nostalgia reasons but I want to build some decks and play against myself haha. Not interested in the pokemon tcg in its current state as I already play magic and don't need another money pit of cardboard. I'd pay half of whatever total you come up with before you ship and then after you provide a tracking number I'll pay you the other half, if that's cool with you.
